How to use Merge PDF with PDFroo
- Drop two or more PDF files into the box (or tap to choose them).
- Drag the cards to set the order. Use “Sort A–Z” for numbered files.
- Press “Merge PDF” and download your combined document.
Tips for a clean merged PDF
Name scanned files with leading zeros (01, 02, 03…) and use Sort A–Z to put them in order instantly. If the final file is too large to email, run it through Compress PDF afterwards, or add page numbers so readers can find their way.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. PDFroo processes your files inside your own browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Nothing is uploaded, so your documents never leave your device and there is nothing for us to store or delete.
Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?
There is no fixed limit. Because merging runs on your device, the practical limit is your browser’s memory – most phones handle dozens of normal documents, and computers handle hundreds of pages easily.
Will links, bookmarks and text stay intact?
Pages are copied as-is, so text stays selectable and searchable and page content is untouched. Document-level bookmarks from the original files are not carried over in this version.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
Remove the password first with the Unlock PDF tool (you need to know the password), then merge the unlocked copy.
