Watermark ideas
Use “DRAFT” for documents under review, “CONFIDENTIAL” for sensitive files, or your name and phone number on copies of ID documents so they cannot be reused for another purpose.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. PDFroo processes your files inside your own browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Nothing is uploaded, so your documents never leave your device and there is nothing for us to store or delete.
Can I use my logo as a watermark?
Yes. Switch to Image mode and upload a PNG (transparent background works best) or JPG.
Can a watermark be removed?
A watermark added as page content discourages copying but can be edited by determined users with editing software. For stronger protection, combine it with Flatten PDF and Protect PDF.
Can I watermark only some pages?
Yes – enter a page range, for example 1-3 or 2,4,6.
